Verify the Password Policy

Once a Password Policy has been created, you can verify it to ensure that it has been applied correctly. There are several ways to do this depending on setup, but for this example procedure, first log into RapidIdentity as an administrator.

  1. Navigate to the People workspace.

  2. Click Other Profiles in the left menu.

  3. Do a search for the department relevant to the policy. In this case, we searched for Accounting and received one result.

  4. Click on a result and notice the bottom Action Bar change; to verify that the policy was correctly applied, click the Change Password option.

  5. Verify that the resulting policy reflects the one that was just created. The Name and Description should be clearly visible.
