Enable/Disable/Reset User Authentication

User accounts can be enabled and/or disabled from the People module. A disabled account cannot login to RapidIdentity. To access the People module, select it from the top navigation drop down.

Enable or Disable

The following steps will assist in enabling or disabling the user's account.

  1. Select the appropriate Delegation from the left navigation panel.

  2. Select the user.

  3. Select either Enable or Disable from the bottom navigation bar. Click on the Vertical Ellipsis icon (Verticle_Elipsis.png) to see more actions.

  4. Click on Yes to confirm the selected action.

Reset

The following steps will assist in resetting a user's Password, Pictograph, TOTP, and Challenge Responses.

  1. Select the appropriate Delegation from the left navigation panel.

  2. Select the user.

  3. Select the Authentication that will be reset from the bottom navigation bar. Click on the Vertical Ellipsis icon (Verticle_Elipsis.png) to see more actions.

  4. Click on Yes to confirm the reset.

    Note

    When opting to reset the user's password, it is necessary to enter a new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields that complies with password requirements listed. Check the User Must Change Password box to force the user to change their password (recommended). Then, click Yes to confirm the reset.
