Configure SNMP Monitoring

By default, SNMP monitoring is enabled for the RapidIdentity Appliance.

  1. To change the default community or make changes to the SNMP settings, log in to the appliance and, from the main menu, select option 2: System.

  2. At the next menu, choose option 3: SNMP.

  3. Then choose option 2: Edit snmpd.conf.

  4. Make any edits needed to the configuration for your environment. When finished, press Ctrl-X to save and exit. The snmpd process will automatically restart and return you to the SNMP submenu.
