Change the Login Screen

The look and feel of the RapidIdentity Login and Logout pages can be configured with significantly more granularity than is provided for the rest of the Portal's look and feel.

  1. First, navigate to the Configuration module.

  2. Then click on Identity Providers in the Security section.

  3. Click Web Template in the left menu. The fields on this page can be used to customize the look and feel of the login page, logout page, and claim account page. This menu also defines the URLs for the Forgot My Username and Forgot My Password pages.

    Description

    Load Helplinks in New Tab/Window

    Checking this box ensures that any hyperlinks clicked on from the site will open the page in a new tab or window instead of the current one

    Page Title

    What will be displayed on the browser's title bar or tab

    Favicon URL

    URL for the location of the image that should show up in the browser's title bar or tab

    Expired Password Text

    The text on the Login screen that the user will click to change their password if necessary

    Expired Password Link

    The hyperlink to send the user to when they click the Expired Password Text

    Custom Logo Image URL

    URL for the location of the main logo to be used on the Login and Logout pages

    Header Background Color

    The color of the header stripe at the top of the page

    The color of the text inside of the header

    Body Background Color

    Main color of the rest of the screen

    Color of the non-linking body text on the rest of the screen (Login and the Claim Your Account verbiage, etc.)

    Enable Custom CSS (Advanced)

    Click this checkbox to enable Custom CSS for the Login page. A box will appear where the CSS can be pasted

    Enable Custom HTML (Advanced)

    Click this checkbox to enable custom HMTL for the Login pages. A box will appear where the HTML can be pasted

    Logout Body

    The text that should appear when the user logs out of RapidIdentity

    Claim Account Link Label

    The text to display on the button the user should press to claim an account

    Claim Account URL

    The URL to send the user to in order to claim an account

    Help Links

    The labels and links that are to be provided on the screen when the user clicks "Need help?"

    More links can be added if desired.

  4. After clicking Save, click Trigger Web Reload to apply the changes.
