Tasks
The Tasks section under the Notification Panel will inform the user if there is an action that needs to be taken regarding entitlement requests. If an entitlement with an expiration date of seven days or longer will be displayed within the seven day range from expiration. Entitlements designated with shorter expiration times will be displayed after half of the expiration period has passed. Sponsored Accounts expiring within one week will also be displayed. These notifications allow request actions to be taken from any module or screen to Deny or Approve requests.
Note
The Alerts and Tasks icons display the current number of unaddressed tasks or alerts.
The Tasks section contains two categories: Approvals and Certifications. This menu displays all current requests requiring action based on the approval process for that entitlement. This includes each time an entitlement needs to be certified, extended, or approved.
