Add and Modify ROI Dashboard Charts

The ROI Custom Graph Manager allows administrators to select which aggregated graphs can display for specific modules within the Dashboard.

The RapidIdentity Return on Investment (ROI) metrics are based on system events that are automatically tallied using a static, monetary value can be configured. Each event can be adjusted by the administrator. By default, several ROI charts are automatically displayed and administrators can add, remove, or change them as necessary.

Before ROI charts can be constructed, ROI Types need to be created. See Create and Modify ROI Types.

Add ROI Dashboard Charts

Follow these steps to add ROI Dashboard charts in RapidIdentity:

  1. Log into RapidIdentity via a web browser: https://[your-host-name] or if you are already logged in, navigate to the Dashboard module from the top navigation drop-down list.

    This is the landing page upon logging in.

  2. Select Graphs from the settings cog icon located on the top right corner.

  3. Any existing graphs will appear in the resulting sidebar with the associated ROI types listed. Click on these menus for more information regarding existing graphs.

  4. Click on Add Graph.

  5. Fill in the appropriate fields:

    1. Enter a name for the graph in the Graph Name field.

    2. Checking the Enabled box will enable the graph to be displayed on the Dashboard.

    3. Select an ROI Type from the drop-down menu.

      Note

      Additional ROI Types can be added by clicking Add Another ROI Type.

    4. Click Save.

Modify ROI Dashboard Charts

Follow these steps to modify the Dashboard module's ROI tallying system in RapidIdentity:

  1. Log into RapidIdentity via a web browser: https://[your-host-name] or if you are already logged in, navigate to the Dashboard module from the top navigation drop-down list.

  2. Select Settings from the cog icon located on the top right corner.

  3. Make necessary modifications to the chart from the following modification options:

    1. Adjust the Max Days to Keep ROI Tallies if necessary.

      Note

      The default retention is 30 days.

    2. Change the access control of the Dashboard module visibility to one of the following options:

      • None

      • Role-based

      • Attribute-based

  4. Click Save.
